Neonstar: Since I’m so far behind and I what to catch up before Christmas I won’t be posting my opinions on the episodes I will however answer your thoughts about the episodes in the comments or if you want on twitter thank you for understanding.

Summary for episode 7:

After meeting with Hattori, Saiko and Shujin continue to work on new submissions to show Hattori, Saiko starts exchanging notes with Miho in class, he asks her a question do they have to wait to they complete their dreams after reading this Miho starts to cry and eventually she gives Saiko her email address. After being given Miho’s email address Saiko is anxious and tells Shujin to carry on thinking of potential stories so they can submit something for the Tezuka award so that Miho will smile again, however Shujin suggests that they should be more cautious and make their manga as good as possible. Hattori than calls them and informs that there work did not even make it to the finalists after hearing this Saiko and Shujin’s resolve is firm and they inform Hattori that they will keep going in order to get the next Tezuka Award. Nizuma Eiji receives a visit from his editor and the editor in chief but before he agrees to move to Tokyo he asks them that if he gets to number one can he have the right to cancel a series that he doesn’t like and the editor in chief agrees to his proposal.

Summary for episode 8:

Shujin comes up with more ideas and shows them to Saiko one of his ideas include “One Hundred Millionth”, which is a story in which people are ranked in accordance to their abilities this story seems to attract Hattori and it leaves Saiko wondering if his art style is good enough. Through luck and patience the story is chosen as one of the finalists however it does not make it into the four that get honourable mentions. The next day at school Ishizawa a classmate goes up to Shujin and tells him that his story was great but that criticises that Saiko’s artwork that is holding Shujin back. This does not bode well with Shujin as he defends Saiko telling Ishizawa that if it wasn’t for Saiko he wouldn’t be writing manga at all, Ishizawa says something else and Shujin gets really angry and punches Ishizawa.
