Hei and the rest finally arrive in Sapporo and take shelter in an uninhabited part of the city. Meanwhile, Misaki as now officially joined the MIAC and as part of her job is given an Alias of Yayoi Ichinose, so in order to further explain what happened to Hei, she goes out to see her informant. However during all of this Hei as specifically decided to train Suo seeing as she is now gained contractor powers and even with her apparent hatred of Hei Suou resolves to stay with him and July. During this Misaki is now heading towards the abandoned National Observatory, and this is where she is approached by Madame Orielle who seems to know her despite Misaki giving her alternative name.

So to begin, Hei is attacked by some MIAC agents who is led by someone called Michiru who is the wife of a local restaurant owner. It appears that Hei is just a distraction and this allows both Suou and July to escape undetected. Suddenly the scenes shifts to Misaki who is now the leader of Section 3 as they are delivering some goods under the codename Izanami, under orders from Kobayashi. Apparently Hei as heard about Izanami and has successfully managed to recruit Suou into helping him raid the convoy. This appears to be a success and the van is now driving away. Michiru then appears at her families restaurant which initially startles her son and ex-husband. Finally Suou is left watching the seas of Sapporo after the apparent mission this is where she notices a submarine entering Japanese territorial waters.

Preview: The Smell is sweet, the heart is bitter…
